WELCOME

Welcome to The Chitepani Trust's website. The village of Chitepani, Kaski, Nepal, lies 17km to the east of Pokhara in the foothills of the Himalayas in the Annapurna Region. The Trust has been set up to promote primary health care, education and development projects to meet the needs of the people of Chitepani and the surrounding area of Kaski District.

We in the West are so very rich. We have so much that we take for granted: our health service, schools, roads, houses, clean water etc.

The Chitepani Trust is a venture that can, in a simple way and with their active involvement, begin to change the lives of these dignified and resilient people.
